At the time it was all either of us had really written or made, and it was certainly the most conclusive thing I could imagine whipping up. These were the first songs I ever wrote and while it’s somewhat embarrassing, it’s mostly just cool to have this little time capsule out there. Everything I’ve learned about recording production is pretty much self taught with f****** around and YouTube videos, but before this album I knew absolutely nothing. Almost an unimaginably small amount of things, but I learned a lot making it. The biggest takeaway for me was that I could do something if I set my mind to it.
